Sindh is known as the "Land of Sufi Saints". The name of Sindh comes with the concept of Sufism, Shrines, Urs, Poetry, Literature and Fairs (Only first character of proper noun should be with capital). The fair of Ramdev Pir is one of them. The temple of Ramdev Pir is situated in Khatri Muhalla, Tando Allahyar, Sindh. This temple is the third largest pilgrimage site for the Hindus of Sindh. The fair held every year in the month of Bhadrapad (August-September) according to Hindu calender. The fair continues 18 days. This includes many mores start by the Gusul of the Morti of Shiri Ramdev Pir. After this a flag ceremony done in which the devotees who have some voy bring "Dajja" (flag) and place it in the Temple.

The reall Samadhi of Ramdev Pir is in Rauja,Rajistan,India. He was the ruller of the fourtenth century. He showed many powers and miracles in his time. 

This temple in Tando Allahyar was made by Keemat Rai ftom Khatri community. Once he went to Ramdev Pir he make a voy if he bless with a boy he will make the temple of Ramdev pir. After sometimes he blessed with a boy, he fullfilled his voy he travelled on his feets and take a lamp along with him. He make a temple in Tando Allahyar and put this temple there which is still lighten today.
      "There are about 12 lac devotees of Ramdev Pir"
  In this fair all the Hindus of every cast come there from all over Pakistan by travlling on their foots to pay homage to Rama Pir. The devotees sing Bhajjan and dance on the music of drum to enjoy this fair. Sweets and food divided to all devotees. In this temple there is a good arrangement for the devotes who come accros the Pakistan. The organization provide place and food to them. 
   Actual temple which was made by the Khatri was put fired after the incident of Babri Mosque. After some time it was rebuilt by the organization. A group of devotees bring 100 kg of wheat by travelling on their feets for the usage of the temple. The devotees have faith that there voy will be fullfilled by attending this fair and completing there religiouse activities.
