Greatest personality niaz panhwar also known as Zulfiqar ali, was born on 15 July 1963 in shadi pali in the city of umerkot. His early education form his native town and went for model school for matriculation and completed his intermediate (private) from Hyderabad city.
He got his bachelor’s degree (B. A) from university of Sindh, and he did masters in journalism, Pakistan studies and sindhi. He also got his LLB degree from Hyderabad law college. After getting many degrees he still believes to do more. After his matriculation exam, due to necessity of time. He worked as clerk in industries department and continued his study privately. He faced many problems and challenges but his wisdom give him power to survive and to face any consequences.
Niaz panhwar is very practical person, high ambitions. determination, honest, great father and friendly for others. He is very fond of reading books and very extreme hardworking person. He did arranged marriage with Afrooz abbassi on 12 July 1990 and having four children namely Barkha, Ali baba, Bakh and Murtaza.He is a great father of my school best friend Ali baba. He thinks for me like his son. I admired his work and long life struggle.
He started his career as a journalist from daily Mehran newspaper and later worked in daily kawish. In august 1990 he became news editor. He has remained lecturer in Sindh university’s model school. Later on, he passed Sindh public commission exam of lectureship and was appointed as lecturer at degree college khipro. He has remained member of board of governance of adabi board and Sindh university’s syndicate. He has strong interest in literature since childhood.
He was very much impressed by Moulvi Ahmed Malah, his first written part KAHANI(story)published in 1972 within daily hilal Pakistan. His writing work published in many popular magazines like Gul ful, Timahi Mehran and Aarsi.In 1981 he was awarded by sindhology department on his work on children literature (Barano Adab). In 1982 he was appointed as secretary of sindhi adabi sangat, jamshoro branch. He wrote 13 comedy tabloes and 6 drama serials for Pakistan television network.
 He also worked with shamshir ul haidri in Mehran newspaper during the movement for restoration of democracy. He also remained director of various music programs on kawish television network. He received best poet award from the sindhi adabi sangat and best journalist award by STP.
His poetry has been recorded by various singers. Currently he occupies post of Assistant professor in Pakistan studies at sachal sarmast college and also he is news editor of daily kawish. He is also working as host of various programs at KTN and radio Pakistan.
Niaz panhwar is man of multi-talented abilities, His life is an inspiration for young generation. We should learn many things from him so we can be like him.
